Jerron ‘Blind Boy’ Paxton (born January 26, 1989) is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Los Angeles, California.
Blind Boy Paxton is one of the most promising artists of today. He plays several instruments: guitar, banjo, harmonica, piano and Cajun accordion. His musical style is heavily influenced by early American music: blues and jazz from the 1920s and 1930s, as well as ragtime and Cajun music. His first album ‘Recorded For Your Entertainment’ was released in 2015. He is now touring extensively around Europe and the United States and played amongst some of the most excellent musicians, including blues legend Buddy Guy, at the Lead Belly Tribute in Carnegie Hall in 2016. Can’t wait to hear more from this very talented man!
Note to my fellow Londoners: Blind Boy Paxton will be playing at Bush Hall (near Sheperd’s Bush station) on June 19.
